I had a lovely stay with an astounding city view and exceptional breakfast options, but the room's decor was a bit faded compared to the online photos. Would definitely return!

Exceptional cheap hotel with warm and comprehensive breakfasts. Thanks to supremely helpful staff I had a stocked premium king room with views of the castle. Comfortable bed, climate control, cell, and Wi-Fi. Outstanding food, excellent location away from the public areas especially the bar. 10 minutes walk to a historic fortress👌

It is in a great location for the centre of Edinburgh and a lovely hotel. The staff are polite, helpful and efficient and the service was excellent. We were handed a glass of champagne while waiting to check in even though we weren't waiting very long. The room was modern and comfortable and had tea and coffee facilities, a safe, iron and ironing board. We didn't eat any meals there or drink in the bar, so have no comments on those.
The only thing - which was very minor - was getting a 7.10am alarm call we didn't ask for!

The staff were super friendly n cute right from the start, especially the night guard who helped us out. The room was really clean n comfy, and the breakfast was amazin in a beautiful dining area. Location was perfect for exploring the city too!
But the only downside was that it was a bit pricey for one night. There was a lot of noise at night from the streets outside that kept us up.
